One of the most well known symbols of the Silverton 4th of July are the S.V.F.D. Donation Boots seen all over town.
Our supporting businesses present an S.V.F.D. Fireman’s Boot on their counter as a way for customers to easily add a few bucks to the cause. On the 4th of July our Volunteer Fire Department collects these Boots and then uses the funds to help out with everything from funding the fireworks and events around town, to making sure there are enough first responders on call to ensure a safe celebration for everyone.
To find one of the S.V.F.D. Boot please visit the following businesses and donate your spare change, or whatever you can afford. We appreciate all donations, large and small!
- Silverton Liquor
- 550 Gas Station
- Golden Block Brewery
- Brown Bear Cafe
- Capital Bar
- Grand Imperial Hotel
- Triangle Motel
- Rum Bar
- Coffee Bear
- Visitors Center
